The Discover Al-Andalus Tour is a journey through Spain’s Islamic history. Here you can immerse yourself in the ruins of this great civilization in the southern region of Spain, where Muslims ruled for over eight centuries. Get lost in the forest of arches in the great mosque of Cordoba and wonder through the gardens of the Alhambra in Granada. Not only will you discover and learn about Andalusia’s past Islamic civilization, but you will also learn about how it contributed to Spanish culture and made it what it is today.

We will meet you at Malaga airport and begin our transfer to the beautiful mountain town of Ronda, which is set in a gorge and offers incredible views of the Spanish landscape. Crossing the town, we will see the Muslim bridge and the new bridge, as well as the remains of the Muslim city walls. After lunch, we will continue our journey to the sunny city of Seville. Upon arrival, we will visit the old Muslim quarter, followed by dinner and checking in for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will begin the day with a guided tour of the Royal Alcazar and the Giralda tower. After the tour, we will explore the old Muslim quarter and the Golden Tower. After lunch, we begin our transfer to Cordoba. Upon arrival, we will cross the Roman bridge and see the Calahorra tower and the Andalusi house. We will then head for dinner, check in, and overnight in Cordoba.

After breakfast, we will begin the day with a guided tour of the Great Mosque of Cordoba, home to the Umayyad Caliphate for over 100 years. We will then visit the ruins of the palace city of Medinat Azahra. After both visits, we will travel down to the last Muslim stronghold in Spain, the beautiful city of Granada. After checking into the hotel to freshen up, we will visit the old Muslim quarter of the Albayzin, enjoying the amazing views of the Alhambra before arriving at the grand mosque of Granada. We will follow this with dinner and an overnight stay in Granada.

After breakfast, we will begin the day with a guided tour of the Alhambra, the only preserved palatine city of the Islamic period and the most visited monument in Spain, followed by a visit to the Corral del Carbon, a 14th century trade center and commercial warehouse, and then free time to relax and enjoy the scenic walks that Granada has to offer. After dinner, we will head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we begin our transfer to the coastal city of Malaga, where we will visit the Alcazaba fort and the panoramic lookout of Gibralfaro Castle. As the economic capital of Andalucia, Malaga is a great place for shopping. Enjoy the many shops in Calle Larios and take a walk along the coast to the famous Pier One. After dinner, we will head to the hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Malaga.

After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport. We will be there four hours before the departure time.
